So you want to play in Major League Soccer?

I get a lot of emails and comments from people that want help getting onto an MLS team.

I have no idea what to do.

but I did a tiny bit of research and found this:

Most teams will want you (or more likely your agent) to send them your soccer resume along with some video. That is pretty much a minimum.

So this is what you have to do:

Go to http://mlssoccer.com and click on any one of the team pages. Typically toward the bottom of the page there is a big block of links with one being a “contact us” link. Click on that, find an email address or a phone number and get in contact with someone there to find out what that team wants from you, then give it to them.

Keep this in mind: Major League Soccer is a professional soccer league. If you are not a professional soccer player already - chances are not good that you just walk onto a team. MLS may not have the history, prestige, fan base, or the best players in the world like the top European leagues, but it is a very competitive professional soccer league.
