MLS Players dominate US MNT January Camp

3 MLS players going to England

US coach Bob Bradley has named his team that will face England on May 28th.  The roster is dominated by European based players who are not in the middle of a regular season, while only including 3 MLS players.  Landon Donovan, Brad Guzan, and Ricardo Clark are the MLS representatives on the team.

David Beckham is also on the England roster for the game which will potentially be his 101st cap for England.

The game will be played at Wembly on May 28th.

Gamba Boy runs wild on Dynamo

After Ricardo Clark scored the first goal of the game in the 11th minute the real Gamba Boy revealed himself. The Brazilian that goes by the name Bare went wild scoring the next 3 goals and adding a fourth later. Houston was helpless when it came to trying to stop the boy that holds lightning. I think after that show any MLS team would love to have that guy playing for them. I wonder if any of them will try to bring that guy to the US?

After taking a 1-0 lead the Dynamo managed to give up 6 straight goals. I wonder if they’ve ever given up 6 unanswered goals before. I doubt it has happened in a single game.

Final Score: Houston Dynamo 1 - 6 Gamba Osaka

Ricardo Clark Kicks Carlos Ruiz Video

In the 89th minute of Houston Dynamos 3-0 destruction of FC Dallas yesterday both Ricardo Clark and Carlos Ruiz were red carded. Aparently Ruiz punched Clark as they were going up for an air ball. Ruiz was on the ground after the play when Clark hauled off and kicked him in the shoulder. I found a video (with no sound) on YouTube and I have it here for you. What kind of penalty is Clark going to pay for this kick? It will probably be a pretty big if not the largest suspension ever dished out in Major League Soccer history. What do you think the appropriate suspension would be? Will Clark miss playoffs?
